When one of your best friends is a photographer, who also happens to be this beautiful, she becomes an obvious choice when you need someone to practice new styles on.
We got together in my North Bay studio; the concept simply being to continue testing my new light setup. Drawing inspiration from Felix Kune’s Light Series, and a mashup of posing learned through both Sue Bryce’s and Lindsay Adler’s workshops (giving credit where credit is due).
I won’t say this series is technically perfect. Or that I don’t still have a lot to learn… but I also think we killed it considering where our starting point was. And let's be honest, Sabrina looks amazing.
Sabrina also has a habit of pushing me way past my own comfort zones. Where I tend to stick to simplicity and minimalism in my photography – Sabrina’s the “hey, a wooden ladder, let’s use it” type. Thankfully… because it ended up being my favourite shot of the entire session.
